Post processing and modeling of casting mechanical components

1. Post processing refers to the process of heat treatment, shaping, rust prevention treatment, and rough machining of cleaned casting machinery parts. Casting cleaning: The process of removing the casting from the mold, removing excess parts outside the body, and polishing the inner and outer surfaces of the casting equipment. The main job is to clean the core and core iron.

2. Nonferrous alloys used for casting castings are a type of casting equipment. There are mainly cast copper alloys, cast aluminum alloys, cast magnesium alloys, etc. Process equipment or consumables that simulate the shape of castings to form mold cavities. To ensure the formation of a cavity that meets the requirements, the pattern should have sufficient strength and stiffness.

3. Riser is a supplementary part attached above or on the side of casting equipment to avoid defects in castings. In casting, the riser cavity is a container for storing liquid metal. The core box is a casting equipment that uses sand to form cores, which can be made of wood, plastic, metal, or other materials.

4. Under the pressure of silica sol precision casting, the crystal will be reasonably placed in a pressure tank for casting. After the product is completed, the pressure tank will be immediately closed. During use, high-pressure and inert gas will be filled into the tank to solidify the casting under pressure, thereby increasing the density of the casting.

5. When using silica sol precision casting, it will reasonably promote the hydraulic metal material, which can effectively fill the mold cavity, copy the mold cavity style, enhance the precision of castings to prevent defects such as sand holes and insufficient pouring. If using its hot type gravity casting, it is a commonly used casting method in the application process. After the shell is taken out of the roasting furnace, it is cast at high temperature.

6. The oriented crystals produced by precision casting of silica sol can be used in certain investment casting parts such as magnetic steel and turbine engine impellers. If their crystal structure is arranged in columnar crystals at a certain angle, their working performance can be greatly enhanced. Therefore, the investment casting oriented crystal technology has rapidly developed and grown.
